Shumaila Foods, from Pakistan, was born during WEMIN Portuguese classes, inspired by the gastronomic exchange of the first edition of the Lisbon International breakfast “Há Manhãs”.
It brought together a mother and two daughters from Pakistan, living in Lisbon for less than a year.
They participated in mentoring sessions on how to create a small business and disseminate it through social media and how to launch the Shimaila Foods brand. The WEMIN project is helping them with the logistics so as to be able to manage a street food spot on the Popular Party on June in Lisbon, held by Renovar a Mouraria.
